Health
The Problem
For a mother in a village three hours from the nearest clinic, a check-up means losing a full day's wage and often deciding the trip isn't worth it until the problem gets worse. For an elderly person with undiagnosed diabetes, the barrier isn't willingness to be treated: it's a diagnostic test that simply isn't available nearby. These barriers fall hardest on women, children, the elderly, and communities furthest from a hospital, and they don't stay contained to health: a family that loses income to illness, or a child who misses school for a preventable condition, carries that cost for years.
The Solution
At ActImpact, we build community health around one principle: doctors, diagnostics, and medicines delivered to the doorstep, rather than expecting people to travel to reach them, paired with local awareness and ASHA-worker mobilisation so care continues between camps. That means free, comprehensive health camps offering consultations, screenings, diagnostics, and medicines directly in villages, backed by free transport and last-mile mobilisation so distance is never the reason someone goes untreated. Our vision is a health ecosystem where geography, gender, and income no longer decide who gets to live a healthier, safer, more dignified life.
